Privacy Policy
How TechStack Atlas handles your data in its course apps and on www.techstackatlas.com.

The short version: we collect what we need to run your account and your courses: your sign-in identity, your learning progress, your devices and your purchases. We don't sell your data. You can delete your account and its data at any time.
Who we are
TechStack Atlas (“we”) publishes course apps for Android and iPhone (each app teaches one course) and this website. Questions about this policy: hello@techstackatlas.com.
What we collect in the apps

Payments are processed by Apple or Google. We never receive or store your card or bank details.
What other people can see
- Leaderboards: your display name and XP appear on course leaderboards while Show me on leaderboards is on. Turn it off in your profile at any time.
- Certificates: a certificate shows your name, the course, the date and your score. Its serial number lets anyone you share it with check that it is genuine.

We use trusted providers to run the apps. They process data only on our instructions.

Ads
The free version of each app shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier to show and measure ads. You can reset or limit ad tracking in your phone's settings. Premium removes ads.
This website
You can read this website without an account. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics records anonymous page views (pages visited, browser and approximate region). Our host keeps standard server logs for security. We don't use the website to collect your app data.
How long we keep it
- Account, profile, progress and certificates: until you delete your account.
- Security records (sign-ins and account changes): kept for security; when your account is deleted, your name is removed from them.
- Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat: kept by them under their own policies and tax rules.
Your choices and rights
- See and edit your profile in the app.
- Hide yourself from leaderboards at any time.
- Turn notifications on or off in the app or your phone's settings.
- Delete your account and its data. See how to delete your account.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, by email.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. Contact us and we will help.
Children
The apps are not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections. Access to the database is restricted by row-level security, quiz answer keys never leave our servers before you submit, and our staff access is limited to what support requires.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app.
